CPR/First Aid & "Stop the Bleed" CLASSES

Fox Lake Fire Protection District offers American Heart Association CPR classes/AED and First Aid courses ranging from lay rescuers to healthcare professionals.

EXPLORERS PROGRAM

Exploring can be an informative and fun way to help you prepare for the future. As an explorer, you will join other teenagers in planning and operating your explorer post with the guidance from qualified adult advisors. To participate, you must be between 14-20 years of age.

The Fox Lake Fire Protection District takes the practice of installing child safety seats very seriously.

WATER & ICE DIVE RESCUE

We currently have 10 divers employed by the fire district of which 9 are fulltime employees and 1 is part time. Of the 10 divers 2 are ice divers and 1 is a swift water rescue technician. To become a rescue diver each individual had to go through specialized training for certification.
